Mizukihara uchigumori — hato

€340.00

173 × 61 × 22 mm

The scratches from your synthetic foundation disappear into a clean, even kasumi: a hazy core, a hazy clad, and great contrast between them — the clad a little darker than most uchigumori leave it.

A beautiful, very clean colourful uchigumori with aka renge throughout. A finisher for contrast on iron-clad blades, or for the cleanliness it leaves on the hagane of a honyaki; a useful pre-finisher if you want to lift as many micro-details as possible from wrought iron or tamahagane.

Notes from use — Dark grey slurry comes quickly, and in surprising quantity. That much slurry wants water: Soak it ten minutes in fresh water before the session.
